What is floating?

During your session, you will float in a shallow pool of Epsom salts in a quiet, darkened room. This allows your body to enter a state of deep relaxation so that it can heal and repair.

How can floating help me?

We know floatation therapy can sound a little strange at first. However, once they tried it, our clients found it to be deeply beneficial in treating a wide variety of issues, both physical and mental.

A Mental Boost

A sensory deprivation tank is one of the few places where we can be completely quiet and still. Researchers have found that float therapy offers many mental benefits, including:

  • Relieving stress
  • Decreasing depression and anxiety
  • Enhancing creativity and focus
  • Boosting athletic performance

Better Sleep

Clearing your mind can greatly improve your sleep. In one study, researchers found that floatation therapy helped people get more and better sleep, especially when their sleep problems were connected to anxiety. Many people even fall asleep during their 60-minute float session and wake up feeling rested and refreshed.

Feeling better mentally and getting better sleep will often help people feel better physically. Studies have linked floating to many physical benefits, including:

  • Soothing sore muscles
  • Relieving chronic pain

  • Speeding recovery
